Hi! My name is Melissa but go by Velzy in the artist community..you can call me whichever you prefer!

Art has always been a way for me to connect with the world. From a young age, I was drawn to nature and as I grew older, I began to see how it is such an amazing way to bring us closer to everything that surrounds us.

A lot of my artistic influences come from the great outdoors, specifically the jungle of Hana, Maui. I lived in a treehouse off-grid there for many years and it taught me so much about how to care for the land and people around me. The jungle definitely brought out my ‘wild side” and I love to express its beauty in my art. I’m currently traveling the world and love to explore new places the draw new inspiration from.
